The power & action of the Traditional Series are useful medium and medium-fast rods made of carbon and boron although they look like a slow taper. The rod tip part is a bit bumpy shaped with un-sand process (polishing the blank surface) to maintain power at this delicate place. Different from the usual mandrill (the core rod) that is made by wrapping cross carbon material, Restaffine wraps the rod up with cross carbon wherever additional power is thought to be needed, so the taper from the rod tip to the butt is spread out rather than straight. This is why the rod shaped as a slow taper has massive casting and fighting power. The thickness of the rod butt proves the performance at any shaft range. |
